When a player scores three hat tricks in his teams first four games, it’s hard not to notice. Eric Tufman, Abington, Opened the season with a three goal, three assist game against William Tennent. He followed that up with a four goal, two assist effort against Council Rock South. Hatboro-Horsham was able to "hold" Tufman to four points. In the rematch against Tennent, Tufman netted another hat trick while adding two assists. In the final game of October, Abington squared off against North Penn. Tufman managed only one goal, but finished October with 13 goals and nine assists for 22 points in five games.
